FuseDSM Quarterly Breakfast
The FuseDSM Quarterly Breakfast is in place of the Monthly Luncheon in August. We are holding a breakfast meeting quarterly to open up attendance to those members that may not be able to make the regularly scheduled luncheon due to conflicts. Each month the Chamber invites a dynamic speaker to provide timely information affecting our community, insight on issues concerning the community, or inspirational stories which resonate within the community.
There is networking time prior to the start of the program. Breakfast is a buffet so you will be free to network prior to filling your plate! This is the quarterly event you do not want to miss to maintain those important relationships with your fellow members.
"It's Fine, I'm Fine, Everything is Fine"
After spending most of the 2010's building a photography business and a family, the pandemic changed the course of most of our lives - but for Britney Brown, it kick started an unplanned mental health journey, launching three six figure businesses, and creating a dynamic, authentic, messy venture she never knew she (or the rest of the world) needed!
Join us to listen to the unbelievable story of a woman who took an unexpected mental health diagnosis as a 34 year old woman and morphed it into three unique six figure businesses, employing a 10 person team, and continuing to grow at unprecedented rates using the magic of TikTok, creativity, and copious amounts of self-deprecating snark along the way.
Britney Brown, CEO of Copy + Paste DSM and Imperfect Inspiration
Inadvertent mother of five, accidental TikTok influencer, and unintentional multiple six-figure business owner, Britney Brown has turned the art of following her creative impulses into true tenacity creating viral success.
After being diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, Britney started designing planners for her brain that actually worked instead of sitting on shelves after being used twice. In February 2021 she started Imperfect Inspiration and now leads a team of 10 that creates tools, resources, products, and content for Neurodivergent humans, particularly those who spent most of their life struggling with systems that weren't designed for their brains.
Through candidly sharing her bedlam, Britney has gained more than 600k social media followers, appeared on the Today Show, spoken on multiple podcasts, and has been featured in various news stories. She leads several successful online communities of people who find the magic in knowing others struggle the same way they do. In November 2021 she opened a brick and mortar, snarky gift shop downtown and just launched a successful subscription box in April 2022.
Britney is a Des Moines native, Iowa State alumnus, and mother of five living with her husband and WAY too many pets on the Southside of Des Moines.
