The Non-Profit Forum typically meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. Due to the current pandemic, there have been conflicts with many of our members participating in the group. While the meetings remain virtual, we are attempting to move the day of the week to find a better fit for all those participating.
This is a virtual webinar. The Zoom link will be sent out to those registered prior to the event.
This program is free, however, you must be a FuseDSM Member to attend.
Of the persuasive strategies of ethos (credibility), logos (logic), and pathos (emotion), research shows that it is the feeling behind an argument that persuades an audience the most. The gap between a non-profit organization and potential donors is often the lack of compelling storytelling highlighting the people served by the non-profit's mission. This interactive workshop outlines the best storytelling strategies for non-profit organizations and how leaders and stakeholders' voices attract and retain donors.
As an immigrant who grew up between two cultures and mixed messages, the familiarity Erik Dominguez has with speaking fears fueled him to learn and share the tools to overcome those obstacles. For nearly 25 years, his team-oriented speaking and teaching style has centered around shared experiences, a philosophy that everyone has a unique story, and a belief that everyone can share their minds and hearts through powerful presentations.
