TOSS Taste of Something Spectacular
TOSS is all about fun, food and fundraising. One of the most popular events the chamber holds annually, it is an opportunity for member businesses to shine while sharing samples of their most popular food and drink. The fundraising that makes TOSS so fun is our way of giving back to the community by bringing in non profit organizations to benefit from the proceeds of the evening. There will be live entertainment, a silent auction, multiple raffles and games to delight our guests.

What can I expect at TOSS?
The History of TOSS
This decades-old event that was originally Taste of the South Side has become a beloved tradition in Des Moines. The event, now known as TOSS (Taste of Something Spectacular), has grown from a simple showcase of local cuisine to a vibrant celebration of community spirit and culinary excellence. Under the umbrella of FuseDSM, TOSS expanded its reach beyond the South Side to include the North and East sides of Des Moines. Over the years, TOSS has evolved to include live music, auctions, and various venues like Paws & Pints, showcasing the best of the region's culinary offerings, while bringing together businesses, residents, and volunteers in a joyous celebration of food, music, and camaraderie.
